Weird things is a hilarious party game all about weird and wonderful internet searches. To win, you must predict the most popular endings to different Google search questions. Examples include: "Did dinosaurs… go to heaven", "Do sumo wrestlers… drink turtle blood" and “Can a potato… kill you“.
To start, you choose a player to be the search master and hand them the deck of search cards. Then split up into teams, or play individually, and make sure everyone has a pad and pencil. The search master begins by reading out the first half of a popular internet search - for example: “Has a monkey ever…”. Now everyone has to try and guess the most popular ending to the search. Each team/player gets 2 guesses, one main and one bonus answer.
Once everyone has finished writing down their answers, the search master reads out the rest of the search card. If your main answer is at the top of the search list you score 4 points. If your main answer is anywhere else on the list, you score 2 points. You also score a single point if your bonus answer is on the card. After writing the points on the scorepad, you read out a new search card and go again. Whoever has collected the most points after 5 rounds is the winner!
