Captain Bluff is an entertaining family card game inspired by a real story. Unhappy in his job, a baggage handler has been caught messing up with luggage, sending it to every destination but the right one! Now it’s your turn! Open new conveyor belts, switch departure cities and get rid of your luggage as quickly as possible. But be careful and don’t get caught as your colleagues also want to leave early and can call you out if they catch you getting rid of luggage on the wrong conveyor belts!
On your turn, you complete the following five actions in order:
1) Place luggage on a conveyor belt
You place one or more pieces of luggage on a conveyor belt face up. The luggage must be placed in ascending or descending order and all luggage must come from the same departure city.
2) Define a departure city
You place either a luggage card or an airport special card above a conveyor belt, face down.
3) Check a departure city
You secretly look at one of the cards lying face down above a conveyor belt.
4) Change a departure city
You secretly look at one of the cards lying face down above a conveyor belt.
5) Close a conveyor belt
Remove all cards from a conveyor belt. These cards are then discarded face down, and the departure city card is not revealed.
At any time, even when it is not your turn, you can pick up one or more pieces of luggage from the table. The recovered luggage goes into your hand and you can then place it back on a conveyor belt when it is your turn.
The game ends once someone has got rid of all their luggage, making them the winner.
