Ever get the feeling you know what your friends are thinking? Could you be telepathic? If so, you’ll find The Mind an experience like no other!
The Mind is an award-winning game of sixth sense and second-sight that sees you work together against the odds. As a team, you lay down number cards (from 1 to 100) in ascending order. Sounds easy right? The catch is, you can’t communicate! You must use the power of your mind!
You start the game with the same number of lives as there are players. At the start of each level, everyone gets a hand of cards equal to the number of the level. For example one card in level 1, two cards in level 2 and so on.
Starting with one card each in level one, everyone must lay down all the cards in ascending order. BUT, you’re not allowed to communicate with each other in any way as to which cards you have in your hand. When you place a card, if no one has a card with a lower number on it in their hand, great, the game continues! If someone did, everyone discards face up all cards lower than the card that was played, and the team loses a life. Once you’ve completed level one, you add a second card, then a third – and so on, all the way up to level 12.
Throwing star: When a throwing star is played, everyone discards their lowest card face up, giving everyone some information and getting you closer to completing the level.
Once certain levels are completed, you’ll receive additional lives or throwing stars.
The game can end in 2 ways:
- By completing all 12 levels with at least one life left and winning the game!
- By losing all your lives and being defeated by The Mind
