The Taverns of Tiefenthal is a beer-filled deck-building game. In the village of Tiefenthal, you take the role of tavern host to attract new and wealthy guests. Which tavern expansion is best? Do you need more tables? A larger beer warehouse? Skilfully choose the dice to develop your personal deck and become as profitable as possible!
The game is played over eight rounds. Each round consists of the following phases:A new evening over the tavern
You move the round marker to the next space and collect the corresponding bonus.
The tavern fills up
You reveal the top card from your deck and place it face up in the appropriate spot in your tavern. You repeat this until all of your tables are occupied.
Here comes the waitress
For each waitress in your tavern, you may take one die in your player colour, roll it and place it below your tavern board.
How can I serve you?
Each player rolls the four white dice on their dice coasters at the same time. You choose one and pass the rest on, keeping going until you have four dice in front of you.
Planning your actions
You place all of the dice onto any appropriate action spaces.
Time to serve the guests
All of the players take the actions that they planned out in the previous turn, resolving all the actions necessary. You need Thalers to buy equipment, beer to buy guests and Nobles to score the highest points!
All players pick up the cards placed in or next to their taverns and place them in the discard pile.
The game ends after the 8th round. Now you count up the scores and the highest score wins!
There are five modules in the game, which ensures that there is plenty of replayability.
